Dallas Invisalign Treatment
An Alternative Orthodontic Solution
Having a straight, healthy smile is something many people desire, but oftentimes our teeth are crooked or flawed in some way. One of the most common solutions to a crooked smile is orthodontic treatment, and with modern dental techniques, teeth can be straightened in a more minimally invasive and efficient way.
At Lynn Dental Care, we offer multiple orthodontic solutions to correct crooked teeth, from traditional braces to Invisalign® clear braces. Invisalign allows us to help treat crooked or gapped teeth in a discreet manner that doesn’t involve metal brackets or wires. With this subtle solution, most people will never know you are wearing braces at all.
Benefits of Invisalign:
- Fixing crooked teeth
- Mending underbite or overbite
- Fixing spaces between teeth
- Fixing crowded teeth
- Fixing crossbite
- Healing TMD disorder
How Invisalign Works
When beginning the Invisalign process, we capture digital images of your mouth and teeth to construct models of your bite. Our dental team can then digitally design a treatment plan that will shift your teeth into the proper position. You will then receive sets of Invisalign aligners that slowly adjust your teeth into proper position as you wear them.
The Invisalign aligners are usually switched out every few weeks for a more finely tuned set, which continually adjusts your teeth. They must be worn between 20-22 hours per day to be most effective, with patients only needing to remove them to eat or clean their teeth.
How Long Does it Take for Invisalign to Straighten Teeth?
With proper compliance, many patients experience a shorter treatment time to achieve their straight smile. The treatment can take anywhere between 6 to 18 months, depending on the patient's regular oral hygiene practices. Other factors that could affect the timeline include tooth alignment, tooth crowding, gaps in teeth and the general severity of the patient's case.

Why Patients Choose Invisalign
Invisalign utilizes clear, plastic aligners to gently reposition your teeth. These aligners are virtually invisible while they are being worn and can be removed when eating, drinking, or cleaning your teeth. Many of our patients appreciate the ability to maintain a normal lifestyle, free from restrictions on food or drinks with Invisalign.
What are the benefits of Invisalign over traditional braces?
- They are more comfortable
- There are fewer risks to teeth and gums
- Process is quick and efficient
- They are easy to clean
- There are no limits on what you can eat
- No wires or brackets
For most people, the process is gentler on the teeth since the roots move with less force, giving you a more comfortable alignment. Overall, Invisalign cosmetic dentistry allows patients to live their normal lifestyle while working toward a straighter, healthier smile.
Enhancing Aesthetics and Function
Invisalign is often used as a form of cosmetic dentistry for many patients, but it can also significantly improve functionality of your bite as well. For this reason, we often include Invisalign in our smile makeover or full mouth reconstruction treatment plans.
