A Louisiana native, Mel has just recently moved to Dallas and comes to us with over 8 years of experience in the dental field. As the office manager, her job is to oversee the office operations and is committed to making our patients and their families experience in our office a positive one. Mel is passionate about dental health and also loves to give back through volunteer work for Dentistry from the Heart, providing free dental care for the community. When she is not at the office, she enjoys working out, attending concerts, and spending time with her 2 mini dachshunds and chihuahua.
Melissa is originally from Abilene, Texas, where she attended Abilene Christian University and then moved to the Dallas area in 1989. Melissa has been in dentistry for over 30 years and her advanced knowledge in every aspect of dentistry enables her to be a “jack of all trades. ” Melissa’s wonderful communication skills and patient repertoire have made her a valuable team member. Although she started here as a dental assistant, she is now our insurance coordinator and is dedicated to serving all our patient’s insurance needs from verifying benefits to helping them understand how they will work! Melissa and her husband have been married for 28 years and have 2 children. Outside the office she enjoys spending time with family, landscaping and painting.
Karla, who is originally from Houston, has been in the dental field for 3 years. Her first venture into dentistry was as hygiene coordinator for Lynn Dental care in 2014 but she left to pursue other opportunities outside of dental. However, her passion for dental brought her back to our office earlier this year and she is excited to be back on the team. As treatment coordinator she enjoys interacting with all our patients and watching as their smiles transform throughout their treatment. Karla likes to spend her free time beekeeping, spending time with her mini pig, and raising chickens on her farm with her husband.
Lyndsey began her dental career as a dental assistant in her home state of Louisiana in 2014, moving to Dallas 2 years later to work as front desk for an uptown dental office. Our patients and staff enjoy her bubbly, positive personality and radiant smile. Behind her beautiful smile is someone who is passionate about getting to know all our patients and making sure they receive quality service and attention from our front office. When she is not at work, Lyndsey enjoys going to Pilates, being outdoors with her two French Bulldogs, and spending as much time as she can with her friends and family.
Amanda completed her Bachelor of Science at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and courses at Texas Tech University. She started her career devoting her time to helping the underserved in Laredo, TX. Then decided to move back home to the Dallas area. For the past 10 years she had the opportunity to work with progressive dentists in Dallas and Highland Park that offer sedation, and cosmetic dentistry. She strives to provide her patients with the ultimate dental experience, and patient comfort. Her main goal is to achieve good oral health that will last a lifetime. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Charbel, son, Liam and welcomed a new baby girl in January 2018!
Krista was raised in Grand Rapids, MI, where she graduated with her bachelor’s degree from Ferris State University and moved to Texas in 2006. With 12 years of experience as a hygienist, she is quick to make patients feel at ease by building confidence, trust and friendship with each patient. Krista, her husband of 13 years, Nathan, and their two young children, Kessler and Kiersten, moved to Dallas in January 2018. When she is not at the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and exploring the DFW area.
Liana is originally from Canada, as her accent will show, and this is where she started as a dental assistant in 1993. About half of her dental experience is in Orthodontics, but she has enjoyed learning the surgical side. When not working, her husband and she can usually be found on the ice, curling with their competitive teams or spending time with her adult kids.
