Another main contender to keeping your teeth safe from cavities is eating cleanly. When you eat healthy foods, there is limited ingredients that will stick to the surface of the enamel. Staying away from highly acidic food is also recommended, because it will break down the enamel, as well.
When dealing with cavities, it is important to see your dentist. They will be able to provide you with a fix, whether that be fillings for the less severe cavities, crowns for the more damaged teeth, or root canals for the most serious issues. You never want to be the one to deal with tooth decay, but the reality is most of us deal with this at some point.
