The Latest Treatment Tools
Dental Technology Dallas, TX
In addition to providing complimentary spa services and offering sedation techniques to help you feel physically comfortable during your treatment, our office is equipped with the latest technology so you also feel good about the quality of care you are receiving. These modern tools allow Dr. Lynn to provide you with the safest, most effective care available:
DIAGNOdent
This tool is invaluable when it comes to early detection of cavities. Laser technology allows Dr. Lynn to inspect each tooth with pulses of light, and receive digital feedback about the presence of decay. This is vital in providing preventative care and avoiding more extensive, costly procedures.
iTero™ Digital Impressions
Digital technology has allowed Dr. Lynn to eliminate the use of messy, uncomfortable gels and pastes when taking impressions of the teeth. Instead, he uses a hand-held wand to get an accurate picture of the condition of the teeth, allowing him to precisely plan restorations and other dental care.
Digital X-rays
Digital X-rays provide instant results and give Dr. Lynn and his staff a clear picture of the condition of the teeth. This allows him to prescribe appropriate treatment on the spot. In addition, digital X-rays use less radiation than traditional methods, making them safer for you.
i-CAT 3D Scanner
The i-CAT Cone Beam 3D Scanner is an award-winning dental technology that allows Dr. Lynn to take 3D images of all structures of the mouth. These images are instrumental in helping Dr. Lynn diagnose conditions, and plan adequate treatment. No other dental technology provides the detail that is made possible by the i-CAT.
VELscope
Early detection of oral cancer is the key to getting effective treatment and a fast recovery. The VELscope is a hand-held device that uses a special light to identify compromised tissue and abnormalities in the mouth. Dr. Lynn uses this tool to screen for oral cancer during each dental appointment.
Platelet-rich Plasma
This blood plasma has an especially high concentration of platelets which can promote faster healing. If you are undergoing oral surgery, Dr. Lynn will draw blood during your dental appointment and use a special machine to increase platelet concentration. This plasma is then used on any affected areas after a procedure, to speed up healing time.
Smile-Vision
Smile-Vision is an advanced imaging system that allows Dr. Lynn to simulate the results of cosmetic procedures before patients undergo treatment. This allows patients to see how they would look after receiving cosmetic treatment such as porcelain veneers, dental crowns, smile makeovers, and even full mouth reconstructions
Tekscan
The Tekscan T-Scan® is a computerized bite analysis system that assists Dr. Lynn in diagnosing TMJ disorder. This tool measures both bite force and timing, allowing Dr. Lynn to gain precise insight about the structures of the mouth.
